Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a patient-centered team. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and help deliver a distinctive customer experience.

The role includes training through an ASHP and DOL-recognized program to become a PTCB-certified technician, with opportunities to grow in the Walgreens care pathway and clinics. Flexible scheduling and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred or training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other duties per policy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Provide a delightful customer experience and engage with patients.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking and stocking.
