Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the front line serving customers and building patient relationships. The role includes training through an ASHP/DoL recognized program to become a certified pharmacy technician (PTCB).

You will learn to process prescriptions, support the pharmacist, and maintain accuracy and customer care. The program offers hands-on experience, with opportunities to advance and gain credentials that are portable nationally.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills and store inventory knowledge.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy operations and customer service.
