Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in North Carolina. This role focuses on patient-centered care, working closely with pharmacists to process prescriptions, engage customers, and develop strong patient relationships.

The position supports an ASHP/DoL recognized apprenticeship, guiding you toward PTCD certification and broader career growth within Walgreens’ pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related pharmacy duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and support cash-register operations.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and participate in clerical tasks as assigned.
