As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice, you’ll engage customers, assist pharmacists under supervision, process prescriptions, and help manage inventory with the latest pharmacy technology. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician apprenticeship or certification pathway.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Retail experience preferred (six months).
• Strong math and computer skills for accurate dispensing.
• Familiar with pharmacy systems and cash register operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in patient and drug information handling and prescription processing.
• Enter and verify prescription data in pharmacy systems; coach technicians if certified.
• Provide a distinctive, patient-centric customer experience and build relationships with patients.
• Support inventory management, ordering, receiving, and storage of Rx drugs.
• Assist with clinical services as needed and engage with healthcare providers.
