Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the MHealth Clinics and Surgery Center. You will assist pharmacists, prepare and dispense medications, and handle daily cash transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.

Hours are 80 hours bi-weekly with day/evening/night shifts and every other weekend. Ideal candidates have pharmacy tech certification and up to 12 months of experience, with strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician experience (≤ 12 months).
• Excellent customer service, English proficiency, detail orientation and problem solving.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (Pharmacy Technician Natl) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and support for the pharmacy under the direction of a pharmacist.
• Provide customer service and assist in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Handle cash register transactions and receive patient prescriptions.
• Unpack/verify stock-to-invoices and help maintain the pharmacy in proper order.

Job Overview

Required Qualifications
