Job summary

MHM Services of California, a Centurion company, seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the team at Patton State Hospital in San Bernardino, CA. This temporary coverage position runs 9 months to 1 year with shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, and 24–40 hours per week at $23.00/hour.

Current CA certification/licensure as a Pharmacy Technician is required. A high school diploma or GED is required, and one year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pharmacy records: prescriptions, requisitions, logs, patient information, POOs.

We are currently seeking a part-time/full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Patton State Hospital located in SanBernardino, California.

Temporary coverage position (9 months to 1 year)

Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

24 - 40 hours weekly

$23.00 per hour

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist to aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned duties, including interacting with healthcare professionals and corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy Department.

Essential Duties:

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
