Job summary

MHM Services of California, a Centurion company, seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join Patton State Hospital in San Bernardino, CA. Temporary coverage position (9 months to 1 year) with 24–40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm.

Current CA certification/licensure as a Pharmacy Technician is required. This role involves inputting prescriptions, maintaining stocked pharmacy operations, and supporting pharmacists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist

We are currently seeking a part-time/full-time Certified Pharmacy Technicianto join our team at PattonState Hospitallocated in San Bernardino, California.

$23.00 per hour

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist to aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned duties, including interacting with healthcare professionals and corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy Department.

Essential Duties:
