Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Level 1 for the 2nd shift in Mount Prospect, IL. This role focuses on dispensing in a closed-door mail order pharmacy, requiring strong accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an active IL Pharmacy Technician license, beCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with PTCB or ExCPT, and have a verifiable high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (IDFPR) required or willing to obtain.
• Verifiable high school diploma or GED required.
• CPhT certification through PTCB or ExCPT through NHA required for all those licensed after 2008.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Dispense mail order prescriptions accurately and promptly.
• Assist with manual filling, packing, and shipping of medications.
• Support shipping handlers; meter packages and prepare for shipment.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality standards and accuracy in all tasks.
