The ideal candidate will hold an active IL Pharmacy Technician license, beCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with PTCB or ExCPT, and have a verifiable high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Verifiable high school diploma or GED required.
• CPhT certification through PTCB or ExCPT through NHA required for all those licensed after 2008.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Dispense mail order prescriptions accurately and promptly.
• Assist with manual filling, packing, and shipping of medications.
• Support shipping handlers; meter packages and prepare for shipment.

You may be assigned to work all areas of the dispensing pharmacy including product selection, packing and shipping. Tech L1, Dispensing team members are expected to perform any of the following functions: manual filling and packing, fill medications for automated machines, Quality Sampling of medications from automated machine, packing orders using automated packing machinery. As a Tech L1 you may be asked to support the shipping handler functions such as manually metering packages and placement of packages to be sorted for shipment.As a Pharmacy Technician, you must possess basic computer proficiency and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. This position requires standing throughout the entire shift. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
