• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing and escalated member issues.
• Escalate prescription questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation and guidance.
• Assist with inbound/outbound calls from patients or physicians.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.50/hr (licensed) | $16.50/hr (trainee)

Schedule

Schedule (40 hours/week): Shift Option 1 (1 opening): Sun, Wed, Thurs, Fri 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM Shift Option 2 (2 openings): Sun, Mon, Tues, Thurs 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location

Onsite position (Mechanicsville, VA 23116)

Contract

This position is a Temporary (13-week) contract.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and completing member/physician outreach
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing and escalated member issues
• Escalate prescription questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation and guidance
• Assist with inbound/outbound patient or physician calls
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation
• Basic computer skills
• Safety-sensitive role; will have access to PHI and will support pharmacy/healthcare
