Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Woodinville, WA. You will retrieve medication, count and package orders for pharmacist review, and maintain workstations with supplies. Occasional patient outreach for service calls and order inquiries may occur.

Primary responsibilities include processing prescription orders for verification, packing orders for shipping, managing inventory, and replenishing supplies. A strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service is essential.

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for retrieving medication from stock, counting and packaging orders for pharmacist review, maintaining workstations with adequate supplies, removing outdated products from shelves, assisting with inventory replenishment, and maintaining par levels of pre-packaged auxiliary items. Occasionally you may be asked to reach out to patients for customer service calls as well as making inquiries on orders shipped.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification
  • Some packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients
  • Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units
  • Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions as needed (including vials, caps, labels, etc.)

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted State NHA PhT license
  • Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
