Job summary

Optum Pharmacy Technician position in Washington state involves retrieving medication from stock, counting and packaging orders for pharmacist review, and maintaining dispensing units. You will also handle inventory and replenish supplies, with occasional patient outreach for calls.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions for pharmacist verification, packing orders, maintaining par levels, and ensuring readiness for shipment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
  • Stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.
  • Has previously worked or is currently placed as a contractor at UnitedHealth Group or a subsidiary.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pharmacy Technician

you’ll be responsible for retrieving medication from stock, counting and packaging orders for pharmacist review, maintaining workstations with adequate supplies, removing outdated products from shelves, assisting with inventory replenishment, and maintaining par levels of pre-packaged auxiliary items. Occasionally you may be asked to reach out to patients for customer service calls as well as making inquiries on orders shipped.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification

  • Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Has previously worked or is currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted State NHA PhT license
  • Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
