Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 12 years of experience in a pharmacy, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturing, sterile compounding, aseptic filling, or similar regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience with cleanroom procedures, sterile compounding, aseptic processing, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn cGMP, GDP, SOP, and cleanroom requirements.
  • Ability to complete cleanroom gowning, aseptic technique, media-fill, and other job-related qualifications.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, sterility, and patient safety.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sterile compounding, aseptic filling, product assembly, and final packaging in accordance with established procedures, production schedules, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a sterile ISO 8 cleanroom through proper gowning, cleaning, and sanitization practices.
  • Set up, clean, and maintain equipment, ensuring required checks and validations are completed.
  • Stage and prepare batches, components, vials, solutions, and supplies for production.
  • Verify incoming materials meet applicable requirements and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Complete batch records, logbooks, cleaning records, equipment logs, and environmental measurements accurately and on time.
  • Support Right First Time (RFT) performance by minimizing errors and completing corrections promptly.
  • Participate in tech-check processes, gowning qualifications, media fills, and aseptic technique assessments to maintain compliance with cleanroom standards.
  • Coordinate with compounding, vial wash, and other production areas to ensure materials and supplies are available to meet production needs.
  • Maintain focus on patient safety, product quality, and accountability while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic production environment.

About The Job

[The Pharmacy Technician will support the preparation, compounding, filling, and packaging of sterile pharmaceutical products in a controlled cleanroom environment. This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of product quality, sterility, accuracy, and patient safety while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).]{contrast="none"}
