MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II. This staff-level role supports non-discretionary pharmacy tasks with careful attention to daily operations.

The FTE is 0.9 with a Day shift and a Variable schedule. Candidates should hold Washington State Pharmacy Technician license; certification preferred; hospital experience preferred; duties include replacing Pyxis MedStation and narcotics stock, IV admixtures.

• Successful Completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program preferred.
• Experience with medication reconciliation preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.

The Pharmacy Technician II is an exciting staff-level opportunity at MultiCare, assisting in manipulative and non-discretionary functions of the practice of pharmacy. In this role, you will apply your organizational skills and attention to detail for successful daily work operations.

• You will replace unit and procedural tackle box narcotic stock and verify documentation is complete and all narcotic doses accounted for
• You will assist in preparation of IV admixtures

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $25.90 - $39.15 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
