Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy professional to join our team in Michigan. You’ll be responsible for accurately retrieving medications, inputting prescription data, generating labels, and processing insurance claims while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include workload prioritization, stock management, and promoting clinical services to customers. A strong customer service orientation and professional appearance are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Retail/Community practice experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
• Proficient typing skills; neat and legible penmanship.
• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities; punctuality and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory and input prescription data.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Populate paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order and stock prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Maintain confidentiality and a clean, professional pharmacy environment.
