Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a Pharmacy Technician 2 in Pittsburgh, PA. This on-site role offers a 13-week contract with pay at $20/hour and benefits after 90 days. Availability is Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm with occasional weekends; safety-sensitive position in a high-volume environment.

The technician will assist in prescription fulfillment, handle claim rejects, input demographics, resolve insurance issues, and communicate with patients and providers under the supervision of a Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Current Pharmacy Registration and state certification as required by Pennsylvania.
• Must be comfortable handling PHI and working in a regulated environment.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription drug products in a fulfillment environment.
• Process prescription exceptions (claims rejects, member and physician outreach).
• Enter member demographics and prescription details into the system.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member issues.
• Escalate prescription questions to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Support inbound/outbound patient or physician calls.
• Other duties as assigned.
