About The Role

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at PACE Pharmacy in PPH. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing excellent customer service to our patients. Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program or institutional/retail pharmacy experience
• Must currently be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in Massachusetts with an active license without restrictions from the MA Board of Pharmacy
• Must not be listed on the Exclusion Database List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE) maintained by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG)
• Strong attention to detail
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in other languages
• Prior experience in the long-term care industry

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals accurately and on time
• Collect, input, and verify prescription, refill, and patient information accurately
• Perform inventory control, compliance audits, and maintain pharmacy records
• Communicate with prescribers, pharmacies, support staff, and insurers as needed to manage refill orders and fill requests
• Field calls from individuals and pharmacies regarding medication refills
