Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in fulfillment of prescriptions in a licensed Kansas or Florida practice setting. You will perform packaging, inventory, record keeping and repetitive tasks under state and federal pharmacy laws.

Responsibilities include contacting physicians for information, collecting patient data, and maintaining procedures with compliance. A State Pharmacy Technician license and National license are required before renewal; 2–4 years of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years’ experience as a pharmacy technician in a licensed pharmacy preferred.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Performs record keeping, packaging, and other tasks related to the fulfillment and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Contacts physicians for missing or required information.
• Collects pertinent patient information.
• Assists Pharmacist in the maintenance of procedures and records in compliance with state and federal laws.

• Required to take and receive calls.
• Identify and report adverse events pursuant to program requirements.

The Pharmacy Technician will practice under the rules and regulations of the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy or the Florida Board of Pharmacy, depending on location, and the Federal Pharmacy Law.

Qualifications

• Certificates, licenses, and registrations required: State Pharmacy Technician required, and National Pharmacy Technician license required prior to first State Pharmacy Technician renewal.
• Computer skills preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Teams).
• 2-4 years’ experience as a pharmacy technician in a licensed pharmacy, preferred.
• Good communication skills, both written & verbal, preferred.

Pay Range

USD $20.63 - USD $25.78 /Hr.
