Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all orders are dispensed and shipped within the expected time frame.
2. Identify outliers and exceptions, providing feedback to appropriate departments to prevent prescription delays.
3. Availability to work between 8 am-7 pm, Monday through Friday (no weekends).
4. Monitor the pharmacy system for orders with Zero Doses Remaining and expired authorizations, coordinating outreach for new prescriptions.
5. Proactively contact physicians to renew prescriptions as needed.
6. Handle frequent inbound and outbound phone calls with patients, physicians, and insurance plans.
7. Notify physicians about expired authorizations to facilitate renewal requests.
8. Coordinate outreach for new prescriptions with relevant staff and departments via fax and phone.

Requirements and Certifications

1. 1-2 years of relevant experience.
2. Professional presence with strong written and verbal communication skills; team player.
3. Intermediate knowledge of Excel and specialty pharmacy functions.
