Job summary

The University of Oklahoma is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to play a key role in helping patients access the medications they need. This position supports prior authorization and petition review, ensuring requests are accurate, timely, and compliant while coordinating with pharmacists, providers, and payers.

Responsibilities include reviewing requests, gathering information, and helping facilitate coverage decisions to keep the process moving and patients centered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• None. This position allows for on-the-job-training and licensure.
• Pharmacy Technician permit issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy OR the ability to obtain an Oklahoma State Board for Pharmacy permit within 90 days from hire date.

Position Introduction:
