New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is seeking Pharmacy Technicians for the Night shift to support licensed pharmacists and ensure safe, accurate medication preparation. The role emphasizes patient safety and teamwork within a busy hospital setting.

The job requires NY license and PTCB/NHA certification, with Omnicell experience and about two years of hospital tech work. Night hours are 11:00pm–7:00am with potential weekend work during the initial years.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold PTCB or NHA certification.
• Must hold New York State Pharmacy Technician license.
• Experience with Omnicell pharmacy inventory automation systems.
• 2 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• IV experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing medications and patient care.
• Update patient census using Omnicell systems.
• Assist with training students, interns, and new technicians.
• Help maintain patient safety and adhere to strict standards.
• Support weekend shifts during the initial period.

Preferred Criteria:

• Experience utilizing Omnicell pharmacy inventory automation systems.
• 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment
• IV experience ideal

Salary Range:

$39.10-$39.63/Hourly
