Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacists and ensure smooth pharmacy operations while delivering friendly, accurate service to customers.

Under supervision, you will verify patient information, receive prescriptions, process orders electronically, stock and label medications, maintain records, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards to protect patient privacy and quality care.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician required.
• Must meet pre-employment background check.
• Experience in pharmacy operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Verify patient information accuracy.
• Receive prescriptions and check validity.
• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure data completeness.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims.
• Select medications and measure dosages for fill.
• Stock, label, and monitor inventory.
• Perform administrative tasks and record-keeping.
• Sterilize surfaces and prepare the pharmacy for opening.
• Maintain security and quality standards (HIPAA).
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

The Opportunity:

Step into a world where health meets care as a Pharmacy Technician at Rosauers Supermarkets. Under the guidance of our seasoned pharmacists, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operations of our pharmacy, all while delivering unmatched service to our customers.

What You'll Do:

• Greet customers and answer any questions they may have.
