Rosauers Supermarkets in Idaho is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and ensure smooth operation of the pharmacy, including processing prescriptions, verifying patient information, and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Under supervision, you will greet customers, handle dispensing tasks, assist with inventory and administrative duties, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Complete a pre-employment background check.
• Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Verify patient information.
• Receive prescriptions and check validity.
• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure completeness.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims.
• Select medicines and measure dosages to fill prescriptions.
• Stock, label, and monitor inventory.
• Perform administrative records and filing tasks.
• Sterilize surfaces and prepare the pharmacy for opening.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

The Opportunity

Step into a world where health meets care as a Pharmacy Technician at Rosauers Supermarkets. Under the guidance of our seasoned pharmacists, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operations of our pharmacy, all while delivering unmatched service to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and answer any questions they may have.


• Verify the accuracy of patient information.


• Receive prescriptions and check their validity.


• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate.

• Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions.


• Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory.


• Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned.

• Comply with all security measures and quality standards.


• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.


• Perform additional tasks as needed.
