Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a part-time PRN Pharmacy Technician to assist in the Pharmacy Department. You will ensure timely medication preparation, labeling and delivery while delivering high-quality customer service and patient care.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, Indiana Pharmacy Technician licensure (in training acceptable with one year to licensure), and hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current Indiana licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Tech in Training with licensure within one year.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• Six (6) months hospital experienced required for PRN positions.
• Two years hospital/institutional pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the operation of the Pharmacy Department and is driven to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Responsible for achieving timely medication preparation, labeling and delivery.
• Holds self and team accountable for achieving the highest level of quality of care, customer service, and colleague satisfaction, and recognizes the contribution for desired results.
