Job summary

Towncrest Pharmacy Corporation in Marengo, IA is seeking one full-time Pharmacy Technician (40 hours/week) to join our progressive community pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and enjoy working with patients and caregivers in a collaborative team.

On-the-job training is offered, no prior experience or certification is necessary. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Provide friendly, accurate patient support and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate records and help with front-end tasks as needed.

Towncrest Pharmacy is a progressive independent community pharmacy with locations in Iowa City, Solon, Marengo and New Hampton, IA. We are currently looking for 1 full-time Pharmacy Technician (40 hours/week) to work at our Marengo Pharmacy location. Towncrest Pharmacy has been recognized regionally and nationally as a community pharmacy leader for providing advanced patient care services to patients of all ages. Schedule:

• Up to an 8-hour shift
• Monday through Friday
• Rotating Saturdays (9-12pm)

Education:

• High school or equivalent is required

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred but not required
• Certification is required within 6 months of hire
