Towncrest Pharmacy in Iowa City is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join Towncrest Wellness Apothecary. This 40-hour/week position offers on-site work with on-the-job training.

No prior experience or certification is necessary, and pay is commensurate with experience. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and work well with patients, caregivers and other healthcare providers in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred but not required.
• Certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Towncrest Pharmacy is a progressive independent community pharmacy with locations in Iowa City, Solon, Marengo and New Hampton, IA. We are currently looking for 1 full-time Pharmacy Technician (40 hours/week) to work at our Towncrest Wellness Apothecary location in Iowa City. Towncrest Pharmacy has been recognized regionally and nationally as a community pharmacy leader for providing advanced patient care services to patients of all ages. Towncrest Pharmacy is an innovative pharmacy practices that provides a rich and diverse opportunity for pharmacy technicians.
