Job Title: Order Entry Pharmacy Technician - 3rd Shift (4:00pm - 12:30am)

They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and promptly, and providing caring service that exceeds expectations.

Technicians support pharmacy operations by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication. They demonstrate genuine care and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture where all feel valued and empowered. Upon hiring, Technicians complete rigorous training and meet all licensing and certification requirements per state guidelines. Until all requirements are fulfilled, duties may be limited by the Pharmacy Manager.

Responsibilities include:

1. Following SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
2. Providing positive patient experiences through empathy, personalized service, and health offerings like immunizations.
3. Completing inventory activities such as medication deliveries, cycle counts, and stock returns.
4. Contributing to a high-performing team, embracing growth, and seeking knowledge to better assist patients.
5. Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to different stores as required.
6. Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, standards, and CVS policies to ensure safety, privacy, and security.
7. Supporting additional health services, including immunizations, after obtaining necessary licensure and training.

This position is entry-level, part-time, within the healthcare industry, supporting the health care provider function, and based in Houston, TX.
