Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Haven Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a Full-time Day shift. Hours are 8 AM to 8 PM, with weekends on a rotating schedule.

The role supports medication preparation, packaging, and distribution for physicians and pharmacists, with ASHP didactic learning modules and required certifications to be completed within set timeframes. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (associate/bachelor’s preferred), MI temporary licensure on hire, and at least six

• Michigan Pharmacy Technician temporary licensure upon hire.
• Must obtain PTCB certification within 5 months of hire.
• Minimum six months of pharmacy work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages, and distributes medication orders per physician/pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment.
• Complete ASHP didactic learning modules as assigned.
• Achieve a passing score on all quizzes and tests related to ASHP didactic learning.
• Complete all experiential learning activities as assigned.
• Provides customer service to medical professionals.

Weekends and Holidays on rotating.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferredassociate or bachelor’s degree

• State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician as a Temporary Licensure upon hire.

• Must achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 5 months of hire.

• Minimum six months of pharmacy work experience.
