About the Position

This position is located at National Capital Region, Army Health Clinic Myer, in Arlington, Virginia.

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Basic Requirement for Pharmacist

Education

A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

Exemption

You are exempt from the basic requirement above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0660 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before. Note: You will be required to provide appropriate documentation to the respective Human Resources Office to validate your status.

Licensure

A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, a territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.

Medical Requirement

Must be able to distinguish basic colors.

Experience

One year of specialized experience which includes managing clinical pharmacy operations; supervising pharmacy personnel and activities; and delivering pharmaceutical care to patients. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
