Job summary

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support safe and efficient patient care within a community-focused pharmacy. Our ASHP/ACPE approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program provides hands-on and online training with a designated preceptor, at no cost to you.

We offer opportunities to work part-time or full-time while you learn, with a path to immunization certification and long-term care pharmacy, plus competitive wages and comprehensive benefits for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• No experience is necessary for most of our Pharmacy Technician positions! As detailed further down this careers page, Thrifty White offers Pharmacy Technician-in-Training programs at no cost to the employee!

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
• Supports the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings.
• Counts, measures, and packages medication in the appropriate container under pharmacist’s supervision and final approval to accurately fill prescriptions.
• Inputs prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies.
