Job summary

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our employee-owned team in Alaska. The role supports pharmacists, processes prescriptions, assists with immunization initiatives, and helps patients through Our Ready Refill programs and medication synchronization.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• No experience is required for most Pharmacy Technician positions.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
• Supports the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings.
• Counts, measures, and packages medication in the appropriate container under pharmacist’s supervision and final approval to accurately fill prescriptions.
• Inputs prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies.

• Competitive wages and hours of operation.
  • Technician-in-Training: $14.85 - $15.35 *plus potential wage increases once training is complete*
  • Registered Tech: $15.85 - $19.31
  • Certified Tech: $16.35 - $19.61
