Job summary

Thrifty White Pharmacy in Clear Lake, IA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician-in-Training to join our team. You will work in the pharmacy while learning the fundamentals of being a Pharmacy Technician and you can start as part-time or full-time.

We provide online modules, internal video trainings, and hands-on training at no cost to you, with opportunities to become immunization-certified and to grow into a certified technician within 9 months. We offer competitive wages and stable hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champions Thrifty White programs like Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx; assists with enrolling patients.
• Supports the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings.
• Counts, measures, and packages medication under pharmacist supervision to accurately fill prescriptions.
• Inputs prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies.

• Provides excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.

• Inputs prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies.
