Job summary

Elite Staffing Network LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time position in support of the Naval Health Clinic Fallon, NV.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am–8:00pm with no weekends or holidays. Requires Formal Pharmacy Technician program and PTCB certification; BLS is preferred. Government background check and clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in pharmacy workflows and medication dispensing processes.
• Knowledge of prescription entry and data accuracy.
• Ability to support drug interaction monitoring and patient requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Dispense outpatient prescriptions, refill processing, and order entry.
• Support patient requests and physician requests while ensuring safety.
• Monitor for drug interactions and report adverse drug reactions.
• Maintain storage, inventory, and produce workload and error reports.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm, to include a lunch break. No Weekends, No Holidays. No Call, No Call‑Back.

Job Specific Position Duties

The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

CORE Duties

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
• Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician's requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
• Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
• Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, producing not in stock reports.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Formal Pharmacy Technician program
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience
• License: None
• Board Certification: PTCB
• Life Support Certifications: BLS
• Security: Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.
