Job summary

Elite Staffing Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time position supporting the Naval Health Clinic Fallon, NV. The role involves dispensing prescriptions, entering orders, and providing information to patients and providers.

Responsibilities include checking drug interactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with security clearances. Ideal candidates have formal pharmacy technician training and PTCB certification and can pass a government background check.

Qualifications

• Education: Formal Pharmacy Technician program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience.
• License: None.
• Board Certification: PTCB.
• Life Support Certifications: BLS.
• Security: Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
• Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician's requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
• Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
• Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, producing not in stock reports.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm, to include a lunch break. No Weekends, No Holidays. No Call, No Call‑Back.
