For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $3,000 sign‑on bonus for all eligible Pharmacy Technicians!

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Pharmacy Technician position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

The Pharmacy Technician role will function in a training capacity, working alongside a trainer/mentor while completing their job responsibilities in their respective pharmacy practice area. The role will assist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and the care team in the storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications within MaineHealth. The Pharmacy Technician will only perform competencies that they have completed in their knowledge‑based courses and on the job training and are qualified to perform alongside a technician trainer/mentor or pharmacist. Previous hospital experience preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician.
3. Experience: None required.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements: Proficient computer skills.
