Technicians are often the first point of contact to assist our patients and customers to deliver an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within the store.
- Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and patient service exceeds expectations.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication as part of the pharmacy team.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive culture where all people feel valued and empowered.
- Complete a rigorous company training program and satisfy registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to state guidelines; duties may be restricted until requirements are met.
- Carry out duties related to the following areas as applicable: production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
Immunization Support (where permissible)
- Support immunizations and related responsibilities as allowed by law and training.
- Educate patients about vaccines and refer questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty.
- Monitor for adverse reactions and report per public health requirements.
- Review and collect patient information; track and document as applicable.
- Monitor and manage vaccine supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy (age, education, licensure/certification).
- Minimum age: 16 if state board does not mandate otherwise; must have a high school diploma or be actively enrolled in a program.
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
Essential Functions
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
- Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks and pivot as needed to meet patient and business needs.
- Customer service and team orientation, with empathetic and caring interactions with patients.
- Communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues; active listening.
- Mathematical reasoning to handle prescriptions, days’ supply, and quantities.
- Problem resolution for patient or colleague interactions.
- Physical demands including mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, repetitive motion, and close visual acuity.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.
- Ability to work in the home store and across the market to meet business needs.

Pay Range
$16.00 - $25.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
