Maine Veterans' Homes in Maine is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a compassionate, long-term care pharmacy team and prepare medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and compliance with safety standards while maintaining inventory, processing deliveries, labeling, and record-keeping.

A Maine Pharmacy Technician license is required; CPhT is welcomed but not required; at least 1 year of experience and strong attention to detail are

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory and stock medications.
• Receive and process medication deliveries.
• Assist with medication labeling and packaging.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Follow all pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure outstanding service.
