Maine Veterans' Homes is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a caring, long-term care environment for Maine's veterans. You'll prepare medications and work behind the scenes to ensure patient safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maine Pharmacy Technician license.
• At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• National certification (CPhT) welcomed but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory and stock medications.
• Receive and process medication deliveries.
• Assist with medication labeling and packaging.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Follow all pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure service.
