Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Strategic Response Team (SRT) in Georgia. The role emphasizes patient privacy, stigma reduction, and serving PLWH with compassionate care.

You will work with a tight team, coordinate with healthcare providers, and support treatment plans while upholding AHF’s core values. Requirements include a state pharmacy license, PTCB, CPR, and immunization credentials; GA residency is expected.

Qualifications

• State license required; if applicable, additional state licenses highly preferred.
• PTCB certification strongly preferred.
• CPR certification required or current.
• Immunization certification (IMZ) may be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, staff and referral sources.
• Facilitate exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.

Job description

A Pharmacy Technician - Strategic Response Team (SRT) contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsabilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual, in addition to the specifics on the job classifications below.

A Pharmacy Technician - SRT enhances the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the "stigma" of PLWH and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care and the importance of patients' needs to maintain anonymity and privacy.

You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

The Pharmacy Technician - SRT will work as a part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff and referral soures to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.

Licenses and Certifications: Required: State license of state applying to(if applicable), highly preferred: +4 state licenses, PTCB, IMZ, CPR

Must reside in Georgia
