Job summary

PharMerica in Greensburg, PA, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Trainee for a full-time, non-retail position supporting long-term care and senior living clients. You’ll learn on the job, with opportunities for advancement and license fees covered for new hires and current staff.

You'll work in a closed-door setting with schedule options (10am-6:30pm or 1pm-9:30pm) and participate in prescription fulfillment, compounding, inventory management, and patient communication while growing your pharmacy

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Capacity to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescriptions accurately and complies with State Board regulations.
• Labels products with safety information for patient use.
• Prepares medications including non-sterile compounding.
• Maintains inventory and assists with drug shortages.
• Responds to inquiries from patients and facility staff.
