Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pursue and complete Pharmacy Technician Trainee certification and pass the exam within required timeline.
Valid Ohio driver’s license.
Active Pharmacy Technician Trainee license by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
Experience with accreditation processes and federal, state, and local regulations in a community health center setting.
Proficiency with office software and machines.

Responsibilities

Assist with quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance records (e.g., ADCES, NCQA).
Gather and analyze data for clinical pharmacy services.
Support Medication Therapy Management and other patient care initiatives.
Address formulary questions, prior authorizations, and 3rd‑party insurer correspondence.
Initiate communication with providers for prescription corrections.
Help develop and implement policies and procedures.
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Participate in site meetings related to patient care and operations.
