Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a PFC Pharmacy Technician, Non-Certified, to support our automated Central Fill Pharmacy.

The role assists pharmacists, prepares and labels prescriptions, stocks supplies, and helps maintain quality and compliance in a fast-paced environment with night and weekend shifts required. Key tasks include ensuring adherence to procedures, handling non-pharmacist inquiries, and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the dispensing area.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working towards a licensed technician certification through a certified national program.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy clerk is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Works in a fast-paced production environment to assist pharmacists in preparation and distribution of prescription medications.
• Prepares and affixes labels to prescription containers.
• Orders, checks-in, and stocks pharmacy supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy and dispensing area.
• Reports medication errors to appropriate personnel.
• Adheres to all statutes and regulations pertaining to a non-certified pharmacy technician.
