Responsibilities

• Accept new prescription orders and telephoned refills under supervision.
• Contact doctors for refill requests as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient information for prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drugs for dispensing.
• Prepare labels and prescriptions for mailing.
• Submit insurance claims and assist with third-party billing.
