Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician; typically one (1) to three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of pharmacy operations and leadership abilities.
• Current certifications: CPHT or equivalent and active registrations as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, directs and serves as a resource for Pharmacy Technicians to support department operations.
• Oversees inventory procurement, auditing, and pharmacy automation systems.
• Leads recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations for technician staff.
• Manages departmental projects, end-of-month metrics, and cost containment efforts.
• Acts as liaison to the Pharmacy Technician Training Program and supports staff development.
