Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy automation preferred.
• Registered as Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
• Three years of technician experience with one year in a related field, or one year with an associate/bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of Senior Pharmacy Technologist when needed.
• Collect data and prepare summaries, reports, and recommendations for leadership.
• Maintain policies and SOPs to ensure legal, accreditation, and certification compliance.
• Complete documentation and maintain records per established policies.
• Automation: ensure integrity of information in automated systems and pharmacy software.
• Troubleshoot equipment and system problems and report issues to stakeholders.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and vendor coordination.
• Engage with vendors and end users to gather feedback and drive improvements.
