Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is hiring a Pharmacist (Shift Differential) in Leesport, PA to oversee pharmacy operations and provide expert medication guidance. Primary duties include sterile compounding, supervising staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safe, effective medication use for patients.

You will consult on prescriptions and non-prescription medications, educate patients on devices and lifestyle changes, and support physicians and nurses to optimize treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Pharmacist (Shift Differential

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Pharmacist (Shift Differential) for our premier clientLeesport, PA

Education and Experience

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures. Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc. Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions. Provide services to patients, such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management. Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters. Compound medications for external or internal use.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify patients drug-related problems and effectively communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners. Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc.
