Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Indiana Pharmacy Technician in good standing.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) within 1 year.
• At least 1 year of retail pharmacy technician experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares medication orders for dispensing by the pharmacist.
• Verifies prescription information for completeness and accuracy.
• Enters patient and medication data into the pharmacy system.
• Coordinates billing and submits insurance claims.
• Assists with Prior Authorization processes.
