Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Department on an as-needed basis. The role supports pharmacists in assembling and distributing pharmaceuticals, maintaining records, and assisting with technical tasks.

Required is a High School diploma or equivalent and registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy; this is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registered as Pharmacy Technician with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Demonstrates teamwork, problem solving, and professionalism.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

What You Should Know About the Pharmacy Technician:

• Hours are variable depending on department needs. Shifts include Mornings, Afternoons, Weekends, Holidays, and Nights.
• This position is based within Jefferson Regional Pharmacy Department

Job Summary:

Under the direction of and subject to verification by a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech will assemble and distribute pharmaceuticals, maintain records, and assist in the technical aspects of the pharmacy. Upon completion of specialized training, may compound sterile admixtures.

Pharmacy Tech Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered as Pharmacy Technician with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• This is a safety sensitive position. *
