Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with filling orders, packaging and dispensing in a hospital setting. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (NM).
• PTCB or NHA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Filling medication orders for inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Non-sterile compounding, labeling and repackaging.
• Non-sterile unit dose packaging; cart, tray and kit prep.
• Handling non-sterile hazardous medications and waste disposal.
• Maintains records for controlled and non-controlled substances.
• Delivers supplies to patient units; answer phones and assist.
• Checks stock and maintains compliance with policies.
