Job summary

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Pharmacy Technician per-diem employed through CPS to support hospital operations. Responsibilities include preparing, delivering, restocking medications, data entry, and stocking Omnicell units, with unit-dose packaging of bulk tablets and capsules.

Primary Responsibilities

• Preparing, delivering, and restocking medications to the various units/departments

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Registered, or the ability to become registered, as a pharmacy technician in the State of Arizona
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Word

• 1+ years of hospital experience
• Proven effective communications skills; verbal and written

This per-diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage to cover PTO, weekends and holidays as needed. There are no regularly scheduled hours for this position.

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a 120-bed hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in mental health services and substance use treatment for teens and adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions.

Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 6:30am-9:30pm. Saturday and Sunday hours 8am-2pm.

Position Details: This per diem position is intended to provide coverage during a full-time Pharmacy Technician's leave of absence beginning in late November, with the potential to continue on an as-needed (PRN) basis thereafter.
